First established as ‘The Welsh Craft Shop’ in 1979, the predecessor of Welsh Gifts remained until its change of hands in 2006. Although the essence of The Welsh Craft Shop remains, we have evolved the company in a myriad of aspects. The most prevalent of these being the emergence of our online store, which has supplied benefactors with a vast range of products since 2006.

In 2012, after more than three decades overlooking Caerphilly Castle, we decided to relocate to our current larger premises in the picturesque market town of Abergavenny. Our shop, Cariad Wales is run by a team that is small in size but big on service. Here you will find a unique and diverse selection of cards, souvenirs, and both traditional and novel gifts, all paired with an unparalleled level of customer focus and support.
